Jenny is as an athlete at heart and a yogi by choice. As an avid ultra-runner and lover of anything fitness-related, she first encountered yoga as a low impact counterbalance to her other activities and training routine. Jenny’s background as a personal trainer, running coach and self-proclaimed biomechanics and anatomy nerd ignited her interest in a professional path in yoga. The decision to become RYT200 certified in 2016 was born out of the request of her clients to integrate yoga and mobility into their own training. Jenny ended up falling in love with teaching and the yoga community of the Bay Area and decided to make it a full time career in early 2017.
Jenny has an alignment-based focus, allowing students to feel the practice of yoga differently in their bodies as they grow a strong mind-body connection both on and off the mat. When she isn’t teaching yoga, you can find her lifting heavy, running fast and taking awesome selfies with her dog, Henry.
